‘This Darker Path: a Journey to the Cross’ was conceived as a contemporary art response to Malcolm Guite’s sonnets on the Stations of the Cross. Fifteen works were chosen or commissioned from eight artists and installed in St Pauls Church, Winchester as a route of pilgrimage.

Feedback from visitors was that the installation was “deeply moving and profound”, “well curated and thoughtful”, “a stunning immersive experience”.
